From the Author
I wrote this book while teaching at Broad Ripple High School in Indianapolis. While the characters and story are a result of my active imagination, I admit to "borrowing" names from my students. I hope they liked the treatment, and I hope many more teenagers will enjoy the book and glean insight from Caryn's journey of self-acceptance.
About the Author
I'm a recovering high school English teacher who would rather write novels than assign them to indifferent students. Originally from Oklahoma City, I moved to Indiana in the 1990s and have lived in Carmel ever since. One of these days I'm going to write a bestseller, but until then I will keep my head in the game and my computer free of viruses. My rescue cats Molly and Phoebe are forever by my side and act as my muses, but I also have to credit my spirit guide.
